Spend your Saturday immersed in the rhythms of the Dominican Republic as Bachata Dominicana Copenhagen invites you to a day of workshops and good vibes at the cozy and globally-minded Café Globen in the heart of Copenhagen. Whether you're brand new to the dance or an experienced Bachatero ready to refine your style, there’s something for you.

📚 Workshop Schedule

Beginner Workshop – 11:00–12:10
New to Bachata? This workshop is for you. We’ll teach the dance from scratch—basic steps, rhythm, and simple partner dynamics—in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. No partner or dance experience needed.

Hangout & Open Dance Floor – 12:10–13:00
This is your chance to meet and mingle across levels. Beginners and experienced dancers share the floor—practice, play, or just enjoy the vibe with music in the background. Grab a drink at the bar, exchange a few moves, and connect with the community.

Experienced Workshop – 13:00–14:30
Already comfortable with the basic rhythm? In this session, we focus on refining your personal style. We’ll work on:

• Body movement

• Musical interpretation

• Footwork improvisation

• Clear, responsive partner connection

Expect thoughtful guidance, individual feedback, and tools to help you grow as a dancer.

Experienced 1h 30min - 130 dkk

Both - 220 dkk

Bachata is a traditional music and dance style from the Dominican Republic, rooted in Afro-Caribbean rhythms, heartfelt lyrics, and social connection. Unlike modern ballroom or sensual styles, Dominican-style Bachata emphasizes rhythm, footwork, improvisation, and a relaxed, natural partner connection. It’s about feeling the music and expressing it—your way.
